About AIRCN'26

Bringing together researchers, students, engineers and industry to build intelligent, autonomous and secure systems.

The Numidia Institute of Technology (NIT) invites researchers, teachers, engineers, PhD and Master students and industry professionals to submit abstracts presenting original contributions to AIRCN'26. Artificial intelligence, robotics and cybersecurity are reshaping health, agriculture, finance, industry, education and public services; this symposium brings these communities together to build systems that are intelligent, autonomous and secure.

Cross-cutting theme

The cross-cutting theme connecting all three tracks.

  • Security of robots and drones
  • Attacks on AI models and adversarial robustness
  • AI for cyber defence
  • Security of LLMs and AI agents
  • Trust, safety, verification and governance of autonomous systems
AI showcase

AIRCN'26 puts the spotlight on fields where artificial intelligence already changes lives, and welcomes original contributions that take it further.

01

AI in Medicine

Earlier diagnosis. Better care.

AI helps clinicians read medical images, detect disease earlier and tailor treatment to each patient, while keeping health data private and decisions explainable.

  • Medical imaging and computer-aided diagnosis
  • Clinical decision support and triage
  • Drug discovery and precision medicine
  • Remote monitoring and wearable health

03

AI in Agriculture

Smarter fields. Secure harvests.

From satellite and drone imagery to soil sensors, AI helps farmers save water, spot crop disease early and forecast yields in a changing climate.

  • Crop disease and pest detection
  • Precision irrigation and water management
  • Yield forecasting from satellite and drone imagery
  • Smart greenhouses, livestock and supply chains

AI in Finance

Fast. Fair. Secure.

AI flags fraud as it happens, assesses credit risk more fairly and brings digital financial services to more people, provided its models stay secure, transparent and accountable.

  • Fraud and anomaly detection
  • Credit scoring and risk assessment
  • Market forecasting and algorithmic trading
  • Digital payments, fintech and regulatory compliance

Day 2 big challenges

AI in Health +
Cybersecurity

Real-world problems. Collective solutions.

A big challenge is a hands-on team competition held on Day 2 of the symposium. Each one sets a real-world problem; teams race to solve it, and the best solution wins the prize.

Challenge 01

AI in Health

Real data. Real impact.

The challenge

Teams take on a real healthcare problem with real data. They build an AI solution — a model, a tool or a working prototype — and present it to the jury. The most convincing solution wins.

Challenge 02

Cybersecurity

Detect. Defend. Outsmart.

The challenge

A capture-the-flag (CTF) competition: teams solve hands-on security tasks against the clock. Each solved task reveals a hidden “flag” worth points, and the team with the most points wins.
